A word of advice for anyone out there looking to hire an attorney, just because someone is located in Beverly Hills and charges high fees does not mean he/she is an excellent or aggressive lawyer. You need to understand their reputation in the community, with their prior clients and you must feel comfortable working with them.
I also do not charge clients for a lot of the phone calls and emails that come through on their end. I want my clients to feel comfortable knowing that they can come to me with a question and not be over-billed or overcharged. A divorce is a costly route to begin with and attorney’s fees can add up quickly with the wrong divorce or family lawyer. My clients have never disputed a bill as they know that my bill was, and is, always reasonable.
